What your students do
Your students spin a 1 to 6 spinner (or roll a die), solve the next problem in that column, and cheer as the turkey, pumpkin pie, corn, and their friends race to the bottom of the page. The first column to finish wins 1st place, and kids color the winners. Add 1 and Add 2 are counting on by 1 and 2, so kindergarten and early first grade students can start there. Add 3 to Add 9 build first and second grade fluency within 20, and Add 10 to Add 12 make great second and third grade review.
Why teachers love it
Every fact gets its own page. Add 3 (3 + 0 to 3 + 12) practices just that fact, and right after it a mixed page (Add 1 to 3) reviews it with every fact before it. You hand each child the page for the fact they are learning, so one game works for your whole class. Self-check strips, 1-minute fluency checks, and trackers show you who is ready to move on, and there is no prep.
